Das rein elektrisch angetriebene
Leichtkraftfahrzeug für die Stadt ist dort mit 45 km/h ausreichend schnell unterwegs, darf bereits
ab 15 Jahren mit dem so genannten „Mopedführerschein“ der Klasse AM gefahren werden. Eine Strandversion gibt es auch, ideal für das Ferienwohnung auf Mallorca, in Saint Tropez oder sonstwo in Europa.
Alles
begann im Stellantis-Konzern vor rund fünf Jahren mit dem 2,41 Meter
kurzen AMI. Ähnlich kompakt wie die Länge sind auch Breite (1,39 m) und
Höhe (1,52 m). Der sollte bei uns für bezahlbare E-Mobilität für bis zu
zwei Personen in städtischen Bereichen sorgen.
Ein echtes Auto ist dieser Franzose nicht, er wird vom Gesetzgeber als so genannter Leichtkraftwagen der
Kategorie L6e geführt. Daher darf er natürlich auch nicht auf die Autobahn.
Das bedeutet im Klartext:
- Gewicht ohne Batterie nicht mehr
als 450 Kilogramm
- darf nicht schneller als 45 km/h
fahren
- ist ab 15 Jahren mit dem Mofa-Führerschein zu bewegen
Doch
aus dem Start bei uns wurde nichts, das baugleiche Modell wollte Opel
als Rocks-e anbieten. Leider nur als Online-Bestellung, die Händler
sollten nur ausliefern.
Was für eine blödsinnige Idee. Warum? Darüber könnte ich mehrere Bücher schreiben!
Inzwischen
ist der AMI in Deutschland zu haben, bei Fiat heißt er Topolino, wartet
dort zudem als betont pfiffige Freizeivariante mit offenen
Türausschnitten und Rollverdeck.
Letzere
Cabrio-Variante gibt es nun auch nach dem Facelift an der Front- und
Heckpartie bei Citroën. Dort trägt diese Variante mit viel
Frischluftvergnügen den Beinamen Buggy.
Der Preis startet hier ab 9.590 Euro, ansonsten geht es schon bei 7.990 Euro los.
Dank
Mini-Wendekreis von nur 7,20 Metern macht der klitzekleine Franzose das
Fahren in engen Ecken und natürlich auch das Parken in
der Stadt supereinfach. Ihm genügen kleinste Freiräume, wo sonst kein
anderer unterkommt.
Alltagstaugliche Reichweite
Der
Zweisitzer von Citroën hat mit seiner Mini-Batterie (5,5 kWh) laut WLTP
eine vergleichbare Normreichweite von 75 Kilometern.
Das ist völlig
ausreichend für die meisten anfallenden Einsatzzwecke. Für die tägliche Fahrt zur Arbeitsstelle oder den Einkauf am Wochenende.
An einer ganz normalen Haushaltssteckdose dauert es daheim rund vier Stunden, bis der leere Akku wieder voll aufgeladen ist.
Ami Buggy jetzt immer erhältlich
Bislang
gab es den Ami Buggy nur limitiert, jetzt ist er fester Bestandteil der
Modellfamilie (ab 9.590 Euro) mit viel Frischluftvergnügen.
Die
Türen ersetzen aufklappbare Metallbügel, statt festem Dach gibt es ein
rollbares Textilverdeck. Etliche gelbe Akzente und weitere Details
betonen seinen fröhlichen Charakter. Auch goldfarbene Stahlräder oder
schwarzer Heckspoiler gehören dazur.
Für schlechtes Wetter gibt es als Zubehör Türverkleidungen
mit Reißverschluss.

A new Ami Buggy in the range
Ami Buggy differs from Ami in that it is more intrepid and adventurous, targeting the leisure market.
With no doors and no roof, you can enjoy your leisure time as close to nature as possible, with a pleasant feeling of freedom. The doors are replaced by black metal hoops mounted on hinges, accentuating the feeling of being in contact with the outside world.
However, for use whatever the weather or the season, zipped door covers are available as an accessory to insulate occupants from the elements. These can be rolled up and stored easily when not in use. The sunroof is protected by a soft top, which is also very easy to handle, so you can drive your Buggy with your hair blowing in the wind.
For added character, the Ami Buggy has a black spoiler at the rear, adding a sporty touch. The 14" steel wheels have a gold finish and are complemented by a black wheel centre adorned with a chevron. The logo, meanwhile, has been given a new yellow hue.
Ami Buggy is also available in a fresh, tangy version, Ami Buggy Palmeira, which comes in an invigorating yellow pack.
The interior equipment includes 3 coloured storage boxes, 1 coloured bag hook, 1 set of 2 coloured floor mats, 1 set of 2 coloured door nets, 1 central partition net, 1 smartphone holder, 1 My Connect Box including My Ami Play for connecting your smartphone to the vehicle.
On the outside, 1 set of stickers for the rear quarter window and another for the wheel arches.
This colour pack is completed by Andy, the little robot!
A real mascot, he's the perfect embodiment of the Ami Buggy spirit.
This figurine will be right at home on the dashboard and will accompany you on all your journeys, bobbing his head to the rhythm of the roads you take.
