CHANEL Métiers d’art 2026 Show in New York

Für seine erste Métiers d'art Kollektion inszenierte Matthieu Blazy einzigartige Persönlichkeiten. Als Heldinnen ihrer eigenen, filmisch erzählten Story treffen sie sich jeden Tag in der New Yorker U-Bahn. Grandios eingefangen und umhüllt mit Kamera und Musik.

Nach sieben langen Jahren kehrte Chanel wieder nach New York zurück um die 2025/2026 Métiers d'art unter der Leitung von Matthieu Blazy am 2. Dezember 2025 zu präsentieren.

Eine weitere Liebesgeschichte zwischen Chanel und New York, in der außergewöhnliches Savoir-faire und Popkultur ungeniert aufeinandertreffen.

Wie immer, ist auch diese Episode eine großartige Reise durch die Welt der französischen Modemarke. Übrigens: Die innige Verbindung zu NY geht zurück in die 1930er Jahre, damals reiste Gabrielle Chanel erstmals dorthin ... per Schiff.

For the first time in seven years, Chanel is returning to New York City to present its 2025/2026 Métiers d'art on December 2, 2025 by Matthieu Blazy. This collection features a joyful cavalcade of personalities, seen through a filmic lens.
Art Deco extravagances, elegant tweeds pushing the boundaries of savoir-faire, sophisticated embroideries and fantastic animal prints, the collection shifts through time and space.

The story of Chanel and New Yor began in the 1930s during its founder, Gabrielle Chanel’s first travels to the Atlantic. 

The last time the brand showcased a collection in the city was the “Paris-New York” Métiers d'art show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in December 2018.

This fantastic show was presented by Karl Lagerfeld two months before his death. 

The Métiers d’art collections are unique to Chanel.
Every year since 2002, they celebrate the exceptional French savoir-faire at the heart of the House’s creations.
This annual rendezvous is a declaration of love to the artisans who contribute to Chanel collections all year round.
