Tradition & Moderne: Pomellato führt die historische Erzählung der Memorie d'Archivio fort und interpretiert kostbare Archivmotive zeitgenössisch neu
Das im Jahr 1967 in Mailand vom visionären Pino Rabolini gegründete Schmuckhaus Pomellato feierte in dieser Woche sein 20-jähriges Bestehen in New York, genauer gesagt am 28. Oktober. Dem Anlass entsprechend fand das exklusive Event in einer sündhaft teuren Privatresidenz im Sutton Tower in Manhattan statt in der 430 East und 58th Street.
Dort begrüßte die seit Mitte September von Kering-Chef Luca de Meo auf den Posten als CEO von Pomellato beförderte Charlotte Fournet hochkarätige Gäste aus Film, Mode und Sport.
Darunter Schauspielerin Michelle Monaghan, Model und Schauspielerin Olivia Palermo oder Olympiasiegerin Lindsey Vonn.
Präsentiert wurde die High Jewelry Kollektion „Stile Libero“ und die Capsule Kollektion „Moneta Orientale“.

„Stile Libero“ rückt farbige Edelsteine, skulpturale Goldformen und Diamanten in den Mittelpunkt des Betrachters.
Die Kollektion umfasst drei Themenwelten: Visionary Colors, Magnetic Gold und Hypnotic Shadows.
Pomellato „Moneta Orientale“
Ideengeber der neuen Kollektion ist ein Anhänger in Form einer essenziellen Goldmünze aus dem Jahr 1997. Zeitgenössisch neu interpretiert, entfaltet sich Moneta Orientale in 33 ausdrucksvollen Kombinationen aus Schmucksteinen und Roségold.
Diese Vorgehensweise ist nicht neu bei Pomellato, regelmäßig werden schöne Entwürfe aus dem firmeneigenen Archiv als Inspirationsquelle genutzt („Memorie d’Archivio“).

Its pierced disc carries a symbolism as old as civilization itself: the round form embracing a square at its very heart, echoing the ancient harmony of heaven and earth, of fortune and grounding.
Recast for today, Moneta Orientale unfolds in 33 stone-and-pavé combinations, each composing its own expression of meaning.

Furthermore Pomellato unveils this new High Jewelry collection that turns freedom into a statement of style.
