Das in Murano ansässige Unternehmen Piumati stützt sich bei der
Herstellung seiner prächtigen Kronleuchter auf ein Team von zwanzig
Meisterhandwerkern. Der Name leitet sich von einer
Technik aus dem 17. Jahrhundert ab, bei der Federmuster - daher „Piumati“ - auf mundgeblasenem Glas mit heißen Glasfäden in
kontrastierenden Farbtönen angebracht werden, die anschließend auf und
ab gekämmt werden.
Jeder Kronleuchter, der die Glas-Manufaktur Piumati verlässt, wird mit dem „Vetro Artistico Murano“ ausgezeichnet. Dieses Zertifikat zeichnet es als ein einzigartiges Kunstwerk aus.
Entworfen von brillanten Designern und auf Steintafeln gezeichnet, bevor es unter fachkundiger Hand nach langer Prozedur und unter immenser Hitze seine unvergleichliche, künstlerische Gestalt annimmt.

Auch diese 2-flammige Wandleuchte wird in einem 1.400 Grad Celsius heißen Ofen auf der Insel Murano von Glasmachermeistern nach alten und geheimen Traditionen zum Leben erweckt. Die seit 1300 von Vater zu Sohn weitergegeben werden. Sie ist vollständig von Hand gefertigt, immer einzigartig und unwiederholbar. Gibt es auch als Pendelleuchte.Preis: 5.660 Euro
